This is a well maintained classic motel in a beautiful, quiet country setting, but still close to Skaneateles and Auburn. The owners have taken excellent care of this place and have modernized all the rooms, which are roomy, comfortable, and have all the necessary amenities. I found the beds to be a bit on the hard side, but then I'm spoiled by my memory foam mattress at home. Still had a good sleep, though. The rooms have a good-sized beverage fridge, microwave, widescreen TV (with over 100 cable channels), coffee maker (although there's also a Keurig in the office with a wide selection of coffees and teas), walk-in closet, air conditioner, and heater. Everything was absolutely spotless, and there was a tray of snacks, including fruit. And one of the nicest things was that when the lights were turned off and shades drawn, it was pitch black--just like at our house! Then there's the huge pool--11' deep in the large end, with crystal clear water that has no chlorine smell. The owner said they have a new sand-based filter system that doesn't need to use as much chlorine as most pools. All in all, we had a very nice time here and will definitely stay again whenever we're in the area.
" I wanted to let you know that our stay at your Inn was fabulous and I believe all of our family members felt the same way! Everything we needed was available and the rooms were clean and comfortable - 5 stars for sure!!
Thank you so much for your kindness. We hope to be back!"
We enjoyed our stay at your motel in Auburn. It was convenient to all the local
sites and attractions. We has a great time visiting the finger lakes area for our
anniversary. Thank you for the excellent service.

This is a quaint Inn just outside the village of Skaneateles. The room was clean and comfortable. The décor was warm and inviting. The bath was furnished with ample towels and a nice hot shower. We were greeted by the owner at check-in. She informed us that she had left some breakfast fare for the morning. She inquired if any other family were staying there. She was able to give us adjoining rooms. This really made our stay all the more pleasant. Thank Sue! I'm so glad you asked if I knew Brian. :) Great weekend getaway!
Hidden Gem Well Worth It

I travel frequently and this was by far one of the best places I have stayed. Weather made travel slow and I arrived far later than the office hours but Sue made accommodations to make sure I had a warm place to stay. She turned on the heat and the room was spotless and toasty when I arrived. The place is older which gives it character but is well cared for and spacious. In a very nice area that was quiet and peaceful and I had a good nights rest. Checking out was a breeze and she even helped me figure out the coffee machine because I am technologically dysfunctional and it wasn't my ancient drip coffee maker. Breakfast was packaged easy to grab items and fruit which worked fine for me. Very friendly, clean, comfortable. The rates were very reasonable, much less than certain big name hotel chains I've stayed in with a much cleaner room and better customer service. I cannot say enough about this place. It was a little further off the freeway than I usually stray but was easy to find and well worth it. Will definitely be using this place as my regular stop when I come through New York.

November, 2016 We were so grateful to have come upon Skaneateles Inn on 20 during an impromptu trip through the Finger Lakes Region. We were very impressed with the comfort and especially the cleanliness of your motel. We will certainly recommend you to anyone we know who will be traveling in the area, and now that we have seen the beauty and charm of Skaneateles, we hope to have the opportunity to return to your excellent motel.
